Puddle Ducks is an award-winning franchise business, teaching babies and children to swim. They operate a network of 40 franchisees, employing over 250 swimming teachers who are spread across the country, and teach 21,000 children to swim every week. Training their growing network of swimming teachers and franchise operations staff is a real challenge, both in terms of logistics and cost. How we made a difference

Using a branded version of our learning platform, the team at Puddle Ducks HQ can rapidly create courses using a range of high quality content templates, assign them to learners and offer personalised certificates. The platform allows them to track exactly who has completed which courses, what their scores were and even their number of attempts. 

CPD points can also be awarded for relevant courses for swimming teachers, which is important as it helps them retain their accreditation with the Swimming Teacher's Association.

Over 70 courses have already been created for the 575+ registered users, addressing topics from teaching techniques and safety through to marketing and operations. It has also been a great way to induct new franchisees.

Local franchises can also run reports showing exactly what learning their staff have undertaken helping them quality assure the work of their team.
