JOGLE End to Enders charity bike ride

Written by Frankie O'Brien

iflourish director and Co-founder Frankie O’Brien is supporting a friend’s charity bike ride. The full ride is from John O’Groats to Lands End (1100 miles with some fundraising detours in 11 days) and Frankie is joining the guys for two legs tomorrow from the Lake District to the West Midlands.

The ride is led by Chris Glencorse, who has been inspired to raise money for the Dreamflight charity following the positive impact the trip they arranged for his poorly daughter last year. He’s giving something back by doing the gruelling ride so that other children and their families can benefit in the same way. You can read more about it in the sponsorship link here:

Frankie’s not exactly fighting fit, but looking forward to the challenge.

Update

The ride was successfully finished on Tuesday 30 June. The original aim was to raise £3,500 to send one child on Dreamflight 2015, but with the help of generous donations the total eventually reached £12,150, which is enough to cover the costs of at least three children and half the cost of another.

Here’s a short video to say ‘thank you’ to everyone who has donated. And if you haven’t done so already, it’s not too late!
